According to a Greenpeace survey this winter at least šš¬š¬'š¬š¬š¬ empty planes flew into the skies of the European Union.
The reason for these "ghost flights" would lie in a Community rule according to which if a company that controls a slot in a given airport does not fly enough planes, it loses control and it is passed on to others.
Regardless of whether the flights made have real passengers or not.
